Our project aims at raising awareness of the importance of climate change; encouraging challenge practices; incorporating elements of Climate Education into the curriculum and forming responsible attitudes towards nature and avoiding personally to affect climate change.
During the first year we plan to learn more about existing climate change by creating PPS, reports, articles, essays, drawings, photos, posters, collages, acrostics; to explore the climate change of the place where we live and make the corresponding maps; as well as launching the project web-page.
During the second year we plan to compile an explanatory mini-dictionary of the climate-related terms in English and in the partner countries’ languages. Other essential parts of the project includes the organization of Climate Saving teams in the partner schools as students and teachers monitor consumption and implement changes to improve climate behaviors at school; to make leaflets “Climate-saving Tips” of great importance will be various debates and discussions on the topic.
Finally, we intend to summarize all the project materials and develop leaflets/brochures that might be of particular relevance to those who take interest in this subject.
